He is also active as a C-Suite advisor with a focus on communication and leadership.
An experienced public speaker, Diego has given a TEDx Talk on Global Business and Communication and he is regularly invited to speak at corporate events and international conferences around the world. Recent events of note include the Istanbul Global Leadership Forum, the Oman Business Forum, the World Communication Forum, the PWC Global Sports Summit, the EU-China Forum, and the annual convention of the China International Public Relations Association.
In June 2020, he was invited to speak at the “Recovery Summit”, the first and largest global virtual conference of the Covid Era, along with Nobel Laureates, international CEOs, and some of the most influential global thinkers of our time.
Through his multidisciplinary activity, Diego is also a bridge builder between Europe and China, where he has worked as a business consultant. He is currently member of the International Advisory Board of the National Image Research Center of Tsinghua University, and in 2019 he was Visiting Professor in Global Business and Corporate Diplomacy at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
He is the Author of Decoding China. Cross-cultural strategies for successful business with the Chinese (Hofstede Insights, 2017) and he is currently researching for a new book around the concept of the “New Renaissance Leadership”.
A Graduate in History from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Global Business from the University of Oxford, and an Executive Certificate in International Advocacy from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
